Executive Chef

Tyler

A proud Richmond native, Chef Tyler brings a lifelong passion for Southern cooking, layered with refined touches of French and Italian influence. Raised in a family of cooks and inspired early on by his grandfather, Tyler developed a deep appreciation for the craft of comfort food done well. With years of experience and a bold yet thoughtful approach to flavor, he’s bringing something special to Bar West. Come see, and taste, what he’s cooking!

Assistant General Manager

Jess

Jess has worked with River City Roll and helped open Cocodrillo and Bar West. She enjoys Jameson on the rocks, watching the Eagles win with Chef Brandon, and hanging out with her best bud Staxx.

Marketing & Events Assistant

Autumn

Autumn is a graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and over seven years of experience in customer service and interpersonal relations. Now in her sixth year with River City Roll and Bar West, she helps bring the venues to life through creative programming, event coordination, and community engagement. When she’s not curating unforgettable experiences, Autumn enjoys baking, gardening, and spending quality time with her family.

At Bar West, we believe in doing things a little differently.

They say you can’t be everything to everyone, but we like to challenge that idea. Guys can dig into a steak or burger and catch the game. Women can sip our award-worthy espresso martinis and enjoy fresh, flavorful options. And the kids? They’re busy creating masterpieces for our monthly Kid’s West Artist of the Month contest.

Kid's West Artist of the Month

Each month, we proudly feature the top 7 coloring menu submissions from our youngest guests and let our customers vote for their favorite. All seven pieces are displayed for three weeks, with the winning artist’s masterpiece highlighted with a blue ribbon. The prize? A free kid’s meal every day for the entire month. Even if they don’t win, it’s a brag-worthy moment seeing their art hanging in the restaurant for all to admire.

Community is Our Core

We’re proud to be part of the Westhampton neighborhood. That’s why you’ll see the FETCH a Cure mural out front, a colorful tribute to a cause close to our hearts. From our dog-friendly patios to the Bark Bites menu and monthly Canines & Cocktails Happy Hour (first Sundays), we make sure even your four-legged family members feel welcome. Proceeds from Canines & Cocktails support a different animal nonprofit each month.

Sunday Social

Every third Sunday, we host our Sunday Social, a casual outdoor hang featuring grilled-to-order menu items, live music, and that easy neighborhood energy we all love. No fuss, just good food and great company.
